The Money JAR - Junior Achievement Radio, is produced by Junior Achievement of Oregon & SW Washington in Portland, Oregon. We incorporate youth voices to talk about financial literacy, careers, entrepreneurship, and common challenges that young people face as they enter the economics of life.

Delivered in 25-35 minute episodes, our shows consist of informative and essay style segments interspersed with talk/interview style segments distributed bi-weekly.

The Money JAR was originally created in 2012 and reached a milestone 100 episodes in 2017.

Show Hosts

Jerelyn Brimer is the Operations Manager at Junior Achievement of Oregon & SW Washington. She is also the co/creator, writer and host of The Sports Raver podcast. She lives in Portland with her husband, daughter, dog, and two cats.

Gianna Leider is a high school senior in Portland, OR. She is the President of the Business Club and the Mental Health Advocacy Club at her school. She will be attending college in the fall of 2024, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Psychology. She plans to pursue a career in consumer behavior. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends and going hiking.

Mindy Lockard is an internationally recognized leadership and etiquette expert, and for more than a decade, she has facilitated interpersonal workshops for college athletes and alumni, government agencies, corporations and professional organizations, and youth of all ages. Mindy also established G3 (The Gracious Girls’ Guide), a leadership guide for tween + teen girls; and the Leadership Academy, a program for middle school boys and girls that focuses on cultivating lifelong social and leadership skills. Mindy was a co-host between 2020 - 2022.

Rishika Vinnakota is a high school senior from the Bay Area, CA. She's passionate about social entrepreneurship, the environment, and writing! As a teen entrepreneur and volunteer, she hopes to pursue a career in business and continue to give back to her community. She's currently the CEO of Reusii, Head of Communications at She Helps Her, and founder of My SplitScreens (a blog where she shares her experiences). Rishika was a co-host between 2021 - 2022.

Original Hosts

Todd Yuzuriha is passionate about personal finance and began investing at age 12. He retired as Vice President of Engineering for Logitech, where he led product development of the company's audio and video game products. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Engineering for Labtec, Senior Director at Sharp Microelectronics, and Engineering Manager at Tektronix. Todd has a bachelor's degree in engineering from Stanford, a master's degree in engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and an M.B.A. from the University of Portland. Todd is married and has three children. He previously served on the boards of Evergreen Public Schools in Vancouver, WA, and the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District, and he plays the trumpet. Todd was a co-host from 2012-2020.

Evan Wilson is married with two young children and lives in Portland, OR. He's was a Partner and the CFO of The Official Manufacturing Company, a strategy, branding and design agency. He's was also on the board or a strategic advisor of a few young companies. Previously, he was a Partner at Pacific Crest, a top technology boutique investment bank, which was acquired by KeyBank. He led the firm’s coverage of the Internet, social media and games, was frequently named to Institutional Investor’s All-American Research Team and was regularly featured on CNBC and in The New York Times & The Wall Street Journal. Evan graduated from Linfield College, where he played basketball, studied finance and computer science and was an Academic All-American. Evan was a co-host from 2012-2019.
